Regional Technical Harmonization Committees

Through the ECOWAS standardization system, LiSA works with West African countries to harmonize standards, reduce technical barriers to trade, and promote the free movement of goods and services across the region.

Regional Committee

ECOWAS Standards Harmonization

At the regional level, Liberia participates in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) standardization system, where LiSA collaborates with neighbouring countries on harmonized standards that support trade, safety, quality, and public welfare.

LiSA participates in several Technical Harmonization Committees (THCs) under ECOWAS. Each committee focuses on a sector that is critical to economic development, consumer welfare, public health, safety, and regional integration.
